We are members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and have always been located next to the University of Oklahoma in Norman, OK.
Fifty years ago we formed as a student ministry serving Lutherans at OU. We’ve grown to be a congregation with ministries for all ages.
We proclaim the message of God’s reconciling work revealed in Jesus Christ and proceeding in the Spirit of God.
We share a common faith with Christians everywhere who baptize in the name of the Father, and the Son, and Holy Spirit.
Our faith is expressed in the rich liturgical life of the congregation, our baptism, and our celebration of the Eucharist (Holy Communion).
We strive to inform both children and adults in the Faith, to appreciate real presence of God in Word and Sacrament, and to bring faith to life through our actions as a caring community.
Pastoral Call Process
We began the process to call a new pastor in May of 2025.
It’s an exciting time. With the Holy Spirit’s help we will take time to take stock of our church mission and clarify where we are heading to better serve God’s purpose for us.
In the meantime, we have some great supply pastors and lay leaders to lead both Sunday worship services. Our church community members will continue working on our ministries—such as styrofoam recyling, support for area school children, education for all ages, quilts for international distribution and our Columbarium.
We’d love for you to join us on our continuing journey of faith and service.
