Youth Ministries
Mission Statement For Our Youth
Sharing a common faith in, and relationship to, Jesus Christ, we come together to explore and grow in our faith. We at University Lutheran Church & Student Center will offer opportunities for study, group building, relationship building, service, and friendship development in a caring and supportive atmosphere affirming our unity and diversity.
Youth Ministries are available for ALL ages.
The definition of youth encompasses 3 different age ranges for us: Kids Klub (Up to Grade 5), Meddlers (Middle School Youth) and the Youth (High School Youth) group.
Sunday School classes for all ages are every Sunday from 9:55a.m.-10:45a.m. at ULC-South (920 Elm) Confirmation Classes (Gr. 7 & 8) meet at ULC-South (920 Elm Ave.) most Wednesday evenings from 6:30p.m.-8:00p.m. Contact Chris Lee at 321-1584.
Kids Klub (Up to Grade 5)
Meets monthly for fun and fellowship---usually on a Sunday afternoon. There are special activities throughout the year like ice cream sundaes, pizza & movie night, watching a basketball game, watching a play, skating, fall hayrides, Easter egg hunts, etc. This is a great opportunity for families! Meddlers (Middle School Grades 6-8)
Meets the 3rd Sunday of every month from 1:00p.m.-2:30p.m. in the Meddlers room at ULC-South (920 Elm Ave.). This is a great learning & fellowship time in which many activities happen throughout the year. Contact the church office at 321-1584.
Youth (High School Grades 9-12)
Meets the 2nd Sunday of every month from 7p.m.-9p.m. in the Youth room at ULC-South (920 Elm Ave.). This is a time to have fun & fellowship, while also having opportunities for group building. Contact Chris Lee at the church office at 321-1584.
