Knitters Ministry

This group is open to anyone who wants to learn how to knit, would like to teach others or just likes to knit and/or crochet. Right now the knitters are doing prayer shawls and bandages but are willing to expand projects, if someone has a project or charity they would like to support.

The prayer shawls (a project headed up by Andy West) are donated to people for whom others are praying. The bandages (a project headed up by Elizabeth Mechem) are sent to tropical ulcer patients and leprosy patients.

The group meets in the Fellowship Hall on the fourth Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Anyone interested in learning more can call Elizabeth Mechem at 579-9792, Andy West at 364-8228 or Marti Hunicutt in the church office at 321-1584.
