We are a place where all people can reeive wholeness and share God's blessings, so we echo Christ's welcome to all persons, everyone: 

To the devout, the seeker, and the skeptic; 
To the scholar and the teacher; 
To single, married, widowed, and divorced; 
To young and old, child and parent; 
To the solitary and those in families; 
To persons of all sexual orientation and gender identities; 
To people of all lands, cultures, and colors;

To poor, middling, and wealthy; 
To all who seek hope, peace, comfort, strength, love, forgiveness, and grace.

University Lutheran Church and Student Center is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America located next to the campus of the University of Oklahoma in Norman, OK.  While we originated over fifty years ago as a student ministry serving Lutherans at OU, we have since grown to be a full congregation with ministries for all ages.

We are committed to the mission of proclaiming the message of God’s reconciling work revealed in Jesus Christ and proceeding in the Spirit of God. We share a common faith with Christians everywhere who baptize in the name of the Father, and the Son, and Holy Spirit. Our faith is expressed in the rich liturgical life of the congregation, our baptism, and our celebration of the Eucharist (Holy Communion).  We strive to form both children and adults in the Faith, to appreciate real presence of God in Word and Sacrament, and to bring their faith to life through our actions as a caring community.
