CARE Groups
CARE groups are small fellowship/study/support groups formerly called
COME Groups. The letters in the word CARE each have special meaning,
and the word CARE itself describes the goal of the small group
interactions, namely that we grow in caring for one another.
- C
reminds us of the old COME model, whereby in each meeting worship, nurture,
witness, service, and fellowship have a role.
- A stands for
affirmation grounded in God's love for us in Christ.
- R
symbolizes relationship which small groups facilitate.
- E
stands for experience and expression, as the groups provide
opportunity for connecting our faith to our experiences.
